Logging in the Swiss Mountains (again!)

So I posted this January last year, but I thought I'd share it again:

1. because I'm lazy

2. it makes me feel very festive and the sounds are just amazing

It follows the men who, every four years, over a period of three months in winter, cut wood down on a steep mountain high above Lake Ägeri and prepared for log rafting. Neither economic change nor technology has been able to replace this traditional and sustainable craft in Switzerland.
