The Word of The Week

In pharmacology, an elixir is a sweetened, aromatic solution of alcohol and water containing, or used as a base for medicinal substances (so it makes medicine taste nice)...

There is also something called the elixir of life which, according to myth and legend, can prolong life indefinitely - it would make you live forever!

All in all - a sweet tasting, magical word.
