A Summer Haiku | Peaches


I love the simplicity of haikus, they're very short Japanese poems with seventeen syllables and three verses.

One with 5, the next with 7 and the final with 5. This a short one I wrote about hot sticky peaches in summer:

Juice dribbles down arms

Sweet smelling flesh of peaches

Small sticky hands grasp
