The Word of The Week

I hope that those on Easter holidays have had a relaxing start!

Mellifluous is an adjective that describes sounds that are pleasingly smooth and musical to hear, like some of the words that have previously been the word of the week!

The 'mel' comes from the latin for honey and 'fluere' meaning to flow. So, it describes noises that are as smooth and sweet as flowing rivers of honey - delicious.
