I thought that, due to this dump of snow we are experiencing at the moment, niveous, meaning snowy or resembling snow, was quite appropriate...
It comes from the latin 'niveus' from 'nix' for snow.
I really liked the example that the Oxford dictionary gave for it, so here it is:
‘all seemed to shimmer and slip away into a niveous haze, as if a fog was rising from some realm beneath the floor’.
