The word of The Week

Luftschloss is a German word for an unrealistic dream. It literally translates as an air castle.

I love this because it suggests that we put our dreams into castles where they can be protected behind strong stone walls, ready for us to call on when we need them.

We all have those far fetched, unrealistic dreams, sometimes they provide an escape when life gets a bit too much.
